Outfit+some minor shopping

Last Saturday my BF’s parents came to visit him and I went along with them to Pyramid. After they left I went to do some shopping and it has been awhile since I bought some clothes or anything at all. After strolling here and there I ended up not buying any clothes at all. Even my BF can tell me it has been so long that we had gone shopping together so you can tell it has been ages. Nowadays after I started buying things online I have been so lazy to do physical shopping. No turning back once you buy online I tell you. Especially when it comes to clothes will be the worse as I am so lazy to try them out so in the end nothing lo.

But I did buy something else, if not I won’t be back home satisfied la. I bought a new mascara and hair dye :-D I wanted to dye my hair again since the last time I did the colour didn’t show up. I got Hoyu Beauteen in Caramel Chocolate:

The mascara is at the most bottom right and the rest are from the box of hair dye.

The packaging looks so cute and it is in pink, definitely shows up the ‘Japanese’ in it. I stood in front of the hair dye at Watson thinking which colour to get, I wanted the colour to show up so was pretty much tempted to get a lighter shade but afraid it will look too ‘LaLa’. In the end I grab the natural shade above. It was on discount and I got it RM20. The mascara was also on discount and I think the price is RM25 or so. Lost my receipt so can’t be too sure about it. The mascara is from Maybelline. Note to others are that if you want to purchase anything from Watson go only on the weekends ’cause they only have discount then.

Hubby dyed my hair for me on Saturday night:

Looks gross eh? Left it on for 25 mins. It didn’t smell as bad as the others I have used and it actually smells like flowers. I felt slight stinging on my scalp while leaving it on but no big deal ’cause I have some acne close to my hairline. Now after 2 days my hair did not feel dry but instead smoother than ever. Thumbs up for that ;-)

Top from online Facebook seller Xinni Wang. I think it was less than RM30. I’m really not good at remembering prices ain’t I? The tights were from Nichii and belt from Vincci which both I bought long time ago.

NYX+Coastal Scents

Exam just finished yesterday at 6.15p.m. This time I don’t get the satisfied feeling after the exam. The feeling like you done your best and now you can enjoy the holidays kind of feeling. Maybe I didn’t work hard enough this round. This sem seems longer compared to the previous. It’s so tiring doing this all over again in another 2 weeks but for now I’m just going to let my hair down and relax. So till then ACCA, till we meet again in 2 weeks time.

Back to the title of this post, during the exam as I was hibernating at home I did some online shopping. I bought a Coastal Scents 6 contour and blush palette for RM65. I don’t remember from which site I got it but I think the seller can be found on lelong.com. The palette arrive and one of the blush has cracked. I contact the seller and he said its normal and no refund or exchange. So I asked him how to fix it and he said use facial toner. Tried that and it didn’t work. The guy didn’t even gave me the instruction on how to use the facial toner to fix the crack. Then he told me that usually it is impossible to fix it back to normal. I was like WTH are you saying, first you said crack during shipping very normal, then you say very easy to fix and lastly you said impossible to fix. I gave up relying on this guy and when googling on methods to fix it. YouTube is your best friend these days I tell you. Then I when out and got a bottle of alcohol in 95%. You can easily get it in pharmacy, I got mine at Guardian. Just tell then it’s for cleaning wound and they will point you the directions.

When I reached home I smash my cracked blush even further to make it into powder as instructed and pour in the alcohol to make a paste out of it. Then leave it to dry afterwards. After 3 hours it was good as new and no thanks to you seller!

I forgot to take photo of the cracked bluch but this is the picture after I fix it:

The one that cracked is the one on the most right corner. You can see that around it has some white cast, that is actually the residual from the smashing that was stucked and couldn’t be clean.

Next will be pictures of my NYX lipstick:

NYX round lipstick in fire and Indian pink. NYX is suppose to be a very cheap but quality product from USA. I bought these at only RM10 each online and the colour selection are crazy. You can find any colour between black to white, REALLY! I bought it from NYX Cosmetics Malaysia. You can either find them on forum.lowyat or try searching them on Facebook. I actually bought some from another seller since NYX Cosmetics Malaysia have sold out some of the colours I wanted. You can have a look here.

I actually bought 3 lipstick, 1 lipgloss and 1 set of fake lashes altogether :-P
This one above is in jupiter and the gloss is in natural. The gloss is mauve-y brown-y shade that looks bit ugly and dull on the lips but the colour turn out pretty and almost the same as my lips colour. No shimmer but opaque in colour. Not sticky so no worries bout hair sticking to my lips that much. A shade true to its name- natural :-)

Here are the swatches:

This are taken under natural light and are as close to the colour in the tube as you can get. Very creamy and one swipe is enough to cover the lips fully. Fire is a bright red and I’m still figuring how to wear this. When I tried it on last night my BF said it was a pain in the eye to look at me cause it is so distracting. LOL :-D

Indian pink isn’t really a pink, more like a peachy colour with a hint of pink. A very sweet shimmery colour I would say.

Jupiter is a shimmery and bit frosty light pink that when I put it on makes me look dead as my BF would say. Maybe a dramatic eye to liven up the ‘dead’ colour? And the blob of brown thing is the gloss. Told you it looks dull but rest a sure it is a ‘my lips but better’ kind of shade.

Another FOTD

Exam must be getting really stress for me to post an entry so soon. I played with my makeup again today and tried the current Japanese trend. I think its called Gyaru. Thick lined eyes pair with super cute falsies and nude lips. And not to forget circle lens! I think my eyeliner and falsies still not dramatic enough lo. Wait when I have the time I will definitely try this look again and hope to get it right as it looks super dolly. (which girl don’t like to look dolly and cute de le?) :-P

I wore my Candy series contacts in violet. The colour shows up so vibrant in photos that I myself can’t help it but stare (and drool…). But too bad it’s not as comfortable as the DM23 series in my previous post, so drying and make me feel like my eyeball is going to fall out. If the colour isn’t so nice I would have thrown it away. Maybe after exam I will go get another pair… hehehe….

I’ve been so JuLian (translate to Chinese) lately. Maybe I wasn’t into cam-whoring (sound so inappropriate but what the heck) until now. I so wish I can smile and show my teeth but I would look like a total nerd and spoilt the whole look :-( All because of the braces la and I haven’t even had my lower braces fit on… Oh gosh… Have to remind myself that I will have nice teeth afterwards to make it through. Seem like I’m trying to look cute in each photo but mind you my cuteness won’t last. So when to flaunt it if not now right? Turning the big 2 in 3 weeks time is getting to my head now @_@
