New stuff Posts

Recently I have been buying….

1)  I don’t even know what’s its name, let me check….Oh ya! Revlon ColourBurst Lipstick in 035 Blush. Didn’t really went and notice what is the exact name of the product, all I know is it is a new lipstick from Revlon in a colour called Blush. I should start paying attention to details, not that I don’t but why mind remembering the name when there are enough cosmetic brands out there taking up my mind space :-P

I did take all the swatches but dumb me for rubbing it all off before taking a picture. There are 8 shades from this range. Maybe I could try explaining the colour? So weird, can colour really be explained?

There is a nude shade in the range that my sis told me I look like I had Leukaemia when I tested it on, so proven it is really nude. A nude pink ( the one I bought), a peach colour (a very nice everyday colour), a dark purple ( looks weird on me but I think it will look great on darker skin shade), a really red red (can you say glam? Jessica Alba was wearing it in the ad), a dark brown, a fuschia pink (very bright and funky) and a purplish-nude kinda colour, its called Mauve.

It’s now on offer price of RM33 when I bought it from Watson Midvalley.

My lips before applying the lipstick:

After applying 2 layers:

Before applying it my dry lips look ‘not-dry’, but after applying it all are accentuated. The lipstick shank into my lips causing it to look old and dry. But I still like the colour as it finished with a nice subtle shine.

2) Makeup train cases. I bought not one but two! When I bought the first one I wasn’t thinking straight. I was on my online-shopping crazy urge again and since my boyfriend is not around to hold my purse and stop me I did damage. Luckily it wasn’t much. I went online searching for a train case to fit all my makeup in so that I can take it back with me this weekend to Taiping. I found one in black on Superbuy.com but when I actually went and collect it I regretted. It was so small and it can’t even fit in my 120 manly eyeshadow palette. But for RM35 you can’t expect too much.

Here are the pictures:

When fully open up…

Then later that day when I was in Sunway Pyramid I saw a Japanese shop selling all kinds of shape and sizes! And they are on 20% discount. I should have hang myself for being so impatient! Arghhh… Wasted RM35, now what should I do about this one then?

This is the 2nd train case I was telling you about. I chose this one after looking at about 8 others. The shop is called YOKOSO! Shiyuki. They sell a lot if interesting Japanese stuff and is located at LG2 close to Subway. This one the original price is RM142 but after discount is RM113. Compared this one to the black one it appeared to be very huge.

Tobbie was in every picture I taken, guess she takes after me, having an interest in makeup….lol :-D
This is the top view when open up.

Tobbie is very very curious with the train case.
The train case can be open up into 2 tiers each side. And there is a large space below enough to put bottles of foundations, makeup remover, my eyeshadow palette and maybe even my hair dryer and curler?

Side view of my train case…

After fitting all my stuff will look something like this:

This post is getting really long so I’m going to post some of the other stuff in the next post.

Till then…

Saturdays are….

I have a pretty ‘wholesome’ Saturday yesterday. It started as I left Sunway at 11 something for brunch at Serdang. I just love the food there, its cheap, delicious and most of all Chinese. After having my favourite Tomyam me and him when to Hotel Sri Petaling to have a look at the Levi’s and Guardian warehouse sales. Not much to buy as the Levi’s stock was limited, most of it are guys jeans and underwear, lots of them I should say. As for the neighbour Guardian warehouse sales, the items are pretty weird. I didn’t know Guardian sells stationery but that is what I saw there. I bought 2 things from Guardian:

The pair of scissors above cost RM3 and Lip Ice Gloss for RM5 only. Wasted a trip for this 2 stuff, luckily the gloss was very shiny and has good lasting power :-) I totally forgot that Pudu bus stop has temporary been moved to Bukit Jalil, when I past by to get to Hotel Sri Petaling I was wondering why there was so many people with luggage then I remembered. It isn’t really a bus stop like Puduraya, just some big tents put up in a big parking lot.

After the short stop we went to the next warehouse sales—ZARA! I thought it would been a really great haul but I ended up with nothing. I’m really bad at clothing warehouse sales, I get headache watching people and clothe running around ( I mean clothes everywhere). But the items there didn’t catch my eye as the sizes don’t fit me. XS and S don’t hang well on me, usually the shoulders will tend to drop as I am very petite. Most of the clothes there are still expensive and many have tears in them.

But I didn’t left Atria Shopping Centre (place where ZARA sales is held) empty handed. As I went down the escalator I saw there is another sales at one of the stores. They have brand like Roxy, Billabong and etc. One of the dress caught my eye, a pastel coloured dress. It’s from Billabong  but not sure whether original or not as it cost only RM50. I think it would be perfect for the morning part of his sister’s wedding.

Then we headed to Ikano once done here. By the time we got there it was already 4pm. The reason we are here is to watch Iron Man 2. But the line was terribly in front of the cinema counters and by the time it was our turn the tickets were sold out. Nothing to be sad about because I bought a bag in the bazaar (Yeah me!). It cost RM20 only :

Its a combination of rotan and jeans I think…..

Then we came back home hoping to check the internet for available movie tickets. Then it was spotted that Tropicana Mall has it! We made the booking and payment ASAP and then headed to Pyramid for dinner. Had the regular Thai food and hurried to the Cinema.

Finally we are there sitting in the seats watching Iron Man 2. I thought Scarlett Johansen was hot in there. Love her body. But all in all I thought Ip Man 2 was a much meaningful movie than Iron Man.

Told you I had a ‘wholesome’ Saturday didn’t I? :-P

Happy always.

Wedding Dress+ Dog-Shopping

Just came back from The Curve at Damansara. The purpose of me going there today is to search for a dress to wear to my BF’s sis wedding in May. After searching for it at so many places I almost gave up. The shops either have the right colour but wrong size or all together just ill fitting. Finally I found one that today, here is the picture of it :

It’s a pretty tube dress in deep purple colour. Satin like material just makes it look elegant enough for a wedding dinner.

Since I was already at The Curve I stop by the Pets Safari to pick up some of my doggie stuff. All I can say is it is not cheap having a pet dog. ADVISE TO ALL: think twice (or 3 times or forever!) before getting a pet dog as it is like having a baby of your own. When you buy a pet you might think it’s all puppy cuteness but be sure to include sleepless nights and diaper changing into the picture. That is what happen to me for the first week Tobbie was with me, barking in the middle of the night to pee and poop.

But now as days go by I think I handled taking care of her pretty well. But do keep in mind that this is not the first time I’m looking after a dog, I’ve two poodles before this. First timer will definitely feel stress out unless you are very very very very very x10 patience which I’m not. I did snap a few times thinking: ‘ WTH did I bring this onto myself!’. But luckily I manage to come to my senses. I spent at least two hours last night on YouTube watching all kinds of videos teaching how to train your pet dog. I hope when I try it on Tobbie it will work. There’s one program on National Geography that is called Dog Whisperer seems very interesting. How I hope now I have Astro so that I can watch it. It is about a guy who tame aggressive dogs.

With my hope of training my dog to be a better one, I bought training biscuit made out of fish. You heard right, it is fish biscuit for dogs. It seems to be the newest IT thing for the dogs called fish for dogs.

It’s shaped like a star and smells like fish too. Nowadays thanks to the influence of Paris Hilton and her dress in pink Chihuahua, all kinds of things claimed to make your dog smart and healthy are coming out. Doesn’t it sounds a bit like the milk powder advertisement for babies? :-P

Here are all the things I bought from the pet store today :

Bought 2 cans of the training biscuit each for RM12+ (expensive!), 2 poop bags, one pack of dental treats, one new lease and one toy that rattles (again don’t you see how similar this one is to a human baby toy? told you they were treating dogs like children).

And finally a random picture of Tobbie :

Happy always.
