Slept for less than 3 hours before rushing to Renaissance hotel at 4 am. I reached at 5 am sharp and there were already people lining up. After a 2 hours plus of waiting finally the gates to chaos open up. And the girls just rush in,running, stomping each other and grabbing stuff. Some went with their man and trust me when I say you will need as much help as you need. It’s like the woman says to man, ‘Grab my handbag *roll sleeves up* I’m going in!’ Man’s role is to hold on to the goods while the ladies push through the crowd.
I saw some personal shoppers there, you can tell by looking at the long list they are holding and keep ticking off stuff. I’ve thought of being one since shopping brings me a happy rush and a small part of me just love the chaos in there. Does that make me sound crazy?
I grabbed lots of stuff but put out almost 80% of it when sorting out my stuff. I had promise myself no more eye products so I put back all of those and only took the face product. The stuff there are still pretty expensive, I think the prices from the L’oreal Luxury sales was cheaper. Most stuff here are priced at RM75 to Rm110. And they pack the products like 20cents candies, the one where they is different different type of combination of stuff for a fixed price and it’s hard to find a pack where there is everything you like in it. This was especially so for the MAC counter, all kinds of combination of stuff, e.g. eyeshadow with lipstick and lipliner, RM75/pack. Lets say you want 3 eyeshadow but you just want the eyeshadow then how??? You will have to buy 3 packs with lipstick that you don’t even know what colour it is. This way you are so going to overspend, but great way for the company to clear their stock course people will need to take the package as it is including the stuff people don’t want, Smart huh?
Bobbi Brown has some really nice stuff and quite a complete range but it was sold out the fastest. I was the 2nd batch in and BB was the first counter I went and things were already sold out. Other counters like origins, Clinique and DKNY was bit quieter than Estee Lauder and MAC. I can’t even move through the crowd despite being so small size
There are so many counters opened so no worries about long queues for payment. As I was paying I saw the display on the other cashiers amount paid by the customer from RM200++ range to RM600++ range. I can bet some might even purchase up to the limit RM2000.
I got 3 items and total was RM200. Can’t buy much cause I don’t want my dad to be yelling over the phone when my bills come. But still me happy happy happy that I get to go at the last minute
Now picture time!
