Parents just went back to Taiping from my KL house and I’m left with again a quiet house with my pom running around. Suddenly felt so unused to the silence, they were all here for just 2 nights and it turns lonely again now. Maybe when he comes back it will be better. My dad, mom and both sisters were here for the weekend. My sis just finished here form 5 last year and was about to pursue her higher levels of studies. They came to send her off to the Kolej Matrikulasi Selangor at Banting.
I woke up at 5.30 this morning. She has to arrive by 8.30am to register herself. We would have made it on time if dad didn’t kept saying that I was using the wrong route when I was driving. I did my homework and checked beforehand the directions to Banting but I guessed my dad got the best of me and finally made a wrong turn and somehow ended back on the federal highway at the wrong direction and at the most peak of all traffic jams. He tried to ask the Traffic police but the guy answered, :’ Banting ar? Saya pun dah lupa la!’. Thanks officer for the great help!
Finally when I managed to get off the road and avoid the traffic I decided that I was right and turn back to the route that I found on Google Map and continue with it. Told you I was right dad! After an hour and half we reached the college at 10 pass 9. It was so crowded with parents and newly graduate form fives. It was located at a very rural area and the place was without much shade as it was still a new campus and trees were still ‘bare’ with leaves. She went and register and we waited outside the hall for her. When she came out it was time for us to head to the hostel. This is the part where I have been awaiting. I never been to the hostel of a public college so I wanted to know how it looks like. Lucky for my sis she was the first batch to use the rooms and everything was new but just bit dusty, some cleaning and it is good to use. We were bit late and the beds by the windows were occupied already. I went toilet visiting with her to check the cleanliness and I should say not bad, not bad at all actually.
After having lunch together with her at the flies filled cafeteria beside her hostel block we say our goodbyes and left her to the new world she is going to experience, it is still by the way a very new experience for her as to leaving home for the first time ever. I’m pretty excited for her myself, finally I have my sister closer to me and I can go out with her during the weekends if I want to as she is only an hour drive from me.
I hope she will enjoy there….
Happy always.
