Super Spicy PanMee!

After much persuasion, Hubby agreed to take me to Serdang pasar malam for pan mee tonight. When we got there we realised that the usual pan mee stall was not there today. So we decided to try the pan mee stall further back. Hubby decided to get the extra spicy for himself and his GF who can’t take spicy food. He should have realised that there was more to it when the uncle selling the pan mee asked:’ U can or not?!’ when hubby placed his order.

When the food came the uncle asked again :’Is this your first time having my pan mee?’, then he continued saying :’my pan mee very spicy one har, anything don’t scold me!’, then he went off laughing. I was thinking :’OMG, don’t tell me it’s super spicy?!’. First taste and the facts was clear. So clear that hubby needed to pay the consequences by finishing my share and his. It was so spicy that both of us had 6 cups of drinks when we were done. I only manage to has less than 3 mouthful of the pan mee and 3 cups of drinks before pushing the whole bowl towards hubby.

So here are the pictures that said it all:

Hubby forcefully trying to smile while he still can :-P

The aftermath! So be warned kids!

Happy Monday!

Saturday Shopping

No road blocks and rally is going to ruin my Saturday shopping. After a long week of training the thing I want most is to go out and look at pretty stuff. Luckily work finish before 4 pm if not I would have ended up being stuck in traffic for the next 2 hours like hubby did @@

I got some additions to my makeup and some mask. Who knew air conditioning could do so much damage to one’s skin?!

I bought the Clinique Chubby Stick in 07 Super Strawberry (RM50), Plumpers Lips in 03 Cinnamon Shimmer (RM25.40) and Blush in B1 (RM27.95), a dusty light pink shade, both from ZA.

I have the ZA Blush Vibrante in B2, a super bright pink and I like it very much because the colour pay off is superb and the brush that comes with it is actually very soft and handy despite being deceivingly small, unlike the brush from Maybelline blush that is scratchy.

I’ve also pick up some facial sheet mask from Watson. Mainly for whitening and hydrating. I bought 11 pieces and hopefully it could last me till the end of the month. The facial sheet mask from Guardian are quite limited as compared to Watson which carries more brands. Most of the mask I bought are mostly Taiwan brands which I never actually heard off like My Scheming, Sexy Look and Beauty Mate. I think this are some popular brands from Taiwan as there are claims that these are best selling on the packaging.

One of the mask I pick up is quite interesting. It’s from Sexy Look and currently on offer at 2 for RM11.80, which could be the reason that the shelfs are quite empty. It is a 3D mask where the mask is extended to the neck and there is a hook for the ears to keep the mask in place. Hmm….Interesting…. Would really like to see how that works…

Anyway, have a nice weekend :)
