Osim uKimono

I’m currently in the 2nd week of my diet plan but things took a toll when I realised I did not weight 44 kg :-( In fact my weighing machine was having some malfunction and I needed to add 2kg to what is displace on it. So do the maths and it was a slap in the face that I need to lose more than what I thought. GG….@@

I decided I needed some help if I were to get the body I wanted. So this is how the Osim uKimono came into the picture. You would have remember the stupid ad by Osim featuring S.H.E. combating with Mr. FAT, right? Basically this is like a big belt that you wear around your waist with the promise of shaking all your fats away. That’s the product I’m talking here. U might think ‘WTH? that thing actually works?’. Yup, you bet I was being a little skeptic at first. It was the team manager that I was working with who first mentioned this product to me. She told me that she used this to tone her post-pregnancy tummy fats. And she also said that she went from a M-size to a S-size. So, this proves how easily I’m sold :-( That’s where all my allowance went every month, to sneeky marketing people and word-of- mouth. To think that an accounting student work know better…hmmm…..

Anyway, I have been trying out the product for almost a week now but I didn’t use it everyday though. I use it about once in two days for 10mins each section, i.e. tummy, butt and thigh. The sales person told me that the results will show earliest at 2 weeks so don’t expect miracle to happen on first use (quoted from the salesman himself).

When I first tried out the uKimono at Osim I felt a little itchy around the section where the product is working on. The salesman said it was due to blood flow from all the shaking and lack of exercise :-( It’s obvious I don’t exercise enough.

Other than shaking your fat away, the uKimono can also be use to massage specific areas like your back and shoulders. I don’t know if it actually is going to help tone my belly but it is actually very comfortable after getting use to the rigorous shaking, somewhat relaxing too. The instruction by the salesman is to use it once in the morning and night. Each session 10mins for each section and slowly building it up to 30 mins by increasing each session by 10mins per week.

So now the catch is it cost RM799…..yup…but if it really works I guess it’s pretty worthwhile considering how many sit-ups you ‘saved’. I did ask for a discount, typical M’sian, but don’t expect anything because the only ‘great deal’ I’ve got is the offer to purchase the mini uKimono at half price. Usually retailing for RM298 was offered to me at a price of RM150. But I decided to skip coz I believe the mini won’t even fit my thigh.

Now, picture time!

The box that it came in…

3 colours to choose from, purple, red and orange. I wanted the purple one but the salesman convinced me that it was out of stock for more than a year. So, I opt for the red one instead.

The logo on the uKimono itself…

The produst itself is kinda bulky, I think it weighs 3kg, that’s more than what’s Tobbie weigh…

Will update on the results soon!

DIET Day 3

Today has been the 3th day of my diet. Nearly break out from my diet during dinner but I stuck to it and had a yogurt and meatloaf sandwich instead. WHEW! If not all my effort would have gone down the drain. I am taking slimming pills together with the dieting too. I don’t know whether it is safe or not but I don’t plan on taking it long term though, just for the whole period I’m dieting to fasten the process.

Goal weight 42 kg and this morning I weight 44kg. Duration to reach optimum weight is 2 weeks, that is 14th of March.

Wish me luck!
