Chinese Orchestra

I just came back from my high school, Hua Lian’s Chinese Orchestra Concert. Enjoyed it so much and all the little juniors did a wonderful job. We couldn’t have done better ourselves :-)

Looking at the little ones make me think back of the time when I was in the band too. Giving my all along my friends and calling the band our second home. How I miss those days…. I miss being a performer on stage, miss the havoc that came along with preparations for concerts, miss the tears and sweats that came along with competitions. All these has passed but i will cherish those moments I had with all of you guys and carry it with me in my life journey. This is why they say those friends that you meet in high school will last you a lifetime and the things you learn in your teenage years will form the person you are today. If I could only perform one more time on stage along with my friends….

Goodness me! I’m being so emo over a concert that doesn’t involved me at all! But really la, looking at them just makes me want to be them all over again!

Enough with the melancholy, here is a video taken for the encore song:

I have some uploading problem so please click the link to view it.

And pics:

And this picture above is the instrument I used to play- The Er Hu!

And the whole band…. Sorry for the blurry pictures, compact cameras aren’t meant to be use during night time.

The concert ticket…

And finally my friend who I met when joining the Orchestra. We have been friends for the passed 8 years.

I don’t know when will we able to meet altogether again. I miss you guys- Yan Ran, Siew Kheng, Kar Hua, Christine, Seong Han, Zi Xian, Tian Ying, Sze Mei, Terry, Zi Jie…. So many more….

I wish all of you all the best in life.

Happy always.

Some sisterly love….

Hi there. I am back in my hometown since Friday and things have been busy till I don’t have much time to update here. My sister got the offer after the appeal has kept me busy. We have been running up and down since Monday and it will still be so tomorrow.

I had a traditional massage yesterday after dropping by at my BF place. His mom said the Ah Pek that was doing the ‘slapping massage’ was in town so she wonders if I was interested. I agreed to have a go at it and boy was she right about the slapping! The person actually slap my back out of its misery. I’ve been experiencing some backache for some time now due to long hours of class and exam stress. The person literally slap me for 1 and the half hours. Now after a day I can say my backache have been relieved. Feel so much lighter after the treatment.

Actually this post is to show you some picture of me and my sisters, I just notice how rarely I take pictures together with them. So here it is:

This is my sis who got the JPA. She is 2 years younger than me.

Me and her. My smile lines are so deep here! I’m OOOOLLLDDD! :-(

Me and my youngest sister. She is 9 years younger than me :-P Very far apart from me eh?

And finally how could we forget this little one :

Enjoy your holidays ACCA’s. As for me I’m going back to KL this Sunday to send My sis to Kolej Teknologi Timur (wherever that is). So much for holidays right?

Happy always.

The days after exam…

Today is the 2nd day after the exam. However I hadn’t have my rest to the fullest yet. Since last night after my BF finish his exam we took off straight to Mid Valley. With hope that there are tickets for Karate Kid but been the only session available is at 12am and I’m in no mood to wait that long so we skip movie for dinner at Sushi king instead. I love sushi and I love cheap sushi even more! :-)

Me and my BF :-)

There were some promo going on for Toy Story at centre court but by the time I finish my sushi Buzz and Woody was gone already. They were dress up looking exactly the same as the actually character from the movie. But I did took some pics with the cardboard figures :

Me with all of the characters from Toy Story. I’m not a fan of Toy Story but I did grow up watching it too. I guess they are adding more new characters to the 3rd movie.

Came back afterwards to rest as I needed to wake up 3 am this morning. I’ve suggested to go hill climbing which came out as a surprise to my BF. He always compliant how un-adventurous I am and how I only know how to go to malls. So I decided to go Broga Hill in Semenyih. And his friends came along with us too.

After having breakfast at Mamak we started our journey. I think we took longer to reach as we were stopping here and there at tolls asking for directions. We definitely didn’t want to get lost especially at 4 in the morning and in the dark!

Finally reached the place after asking 4 person for directions. The start out point was pretty scary cause it was so dark and it was in a palm oil estate. We waited in the car as the guys went down to investigate and finally decided to wait for another car and go up with them together. By 5 minutes another car joint us (whew!). The climb could get challenging for an amateur like me, finding it hard to catch my breathe as the trail got steeper. But it was amazing when we reach the top. The morning breeze was something very different form the KL city pollution. I love it so much till I lost track of time. We had fun taking tons of pics, like bout 200++ of it.

Pretty amazing right?
Too bad we didn’t manage to catch the sunrise. Either we were late or it was too cloudy today. After that we went down Broga Hill feeling satisfied and revitalised.

We went home and took a short nap before I headed alone to Banting to take my sis out from Kolej Matrikulasi Selangor. She won her appeal with JPA. By the time I took her back to my place it was already 3.30pm.

And I just came back from dinner at SS14 and shopping at Sunway Pyramid. What a long day I’ve had and they say you’re suppose to rest after exam? BF went out few hours ago with his mates to watch football, do some catchup while having beers. I didn’t want to follow cause I know he would appreciate having some time with his buddies without my presence. The key to a relationship is to let go at the right time :-)

By the way I receive an early birthday present from him already but will show you in a different post some other day. For now I’m going to bed and will be driving back to Taiping tomorrow morning. Goodnight :-P

Happy always.
