Frenz Gathering…

Today went to Tops Bakery to celebrate Seong Han and Zi Xian birthday. Eight people showed up today which is considered a lot. Its so hard to get a time where everyone of us can attend the gathering. Everyone is spread everywhere with different timetable. But its nice to keep this friendship going on. We are from the same year, some classmates, coming together with the same interest, Chinese Orchestra. It has been a very long time since we played together, how I miss those days. We ate and chat for at least 3 hours today, talking about the times when we went outstation to perform. We did lots of silly things during those times. Gone through the ups and downs of the bi-yearly competition; Cried and laugh together; Had our fair share of misunderstanding and quarrels; Worked hard together to manage the Orchestra. But look at us now, still friends and it feels like we know each other forever. For those who didn’t make it today, hope to see u in the next gathering. Hope you guys have a blessed new year and I am looking forward to seeing you all again.

Braces o braces…

I had my braces fit on today. It took about half an hour. I choose pink colour and it was a pretty bad choice. Now I wonder why my sis keep saying I’m colour blind. The colour made me look super nerdy. At first it didn’t hurt at all and I was telling my sis don’t know why others who had braces said they pain till can’t it. Shouldn’t have said that because after that it hurt like hell! I can’t bite my upper and lower teeth together nor can I bite any food. Even sucking the straw hurts :-( I went to Penang today with my family and we went to Pacific then Juru Auto City. Ate dinner at Subway and it took me 100 years to finish my sandwich. I can’t even enjoy my dinner properly, hopefully in a few days it will not hurt this much.

On my way back something bad happen, my dad was driving then suddenly he said tyre punctured! And we were on the highway where both side was so dark! I nearly had a panic attack, I told my dad not to speed and he just wouldn’t listen and this is what happen. Dad quickly put on the hazard light and drove the car to the side. I was afraid enough and then my dad made it even worse by saying that this is how people get kill lo, at night car spoilt beside the road then lorry bang lo… see what i mean… It was havoc and I could tell dad was worried sick, never see him this way before. It was so dark that it was impossible to change the punctured tyre. We only had one torch and it was used to signal oncoming car so that they can avoid us. I was so nervous that I keep calling dear to try to get me the plus hotline. Luckily after bout 15mins the Plus Ronda came. I’ve never seem so relief to see the blue police light. Two men came down from the car to help us, and with their help the tyre was change in no time. Phew…!!!! So the lesson learnt here is to always check have two torch in the car!

Anyway, before this incident I had a pretty good time in Penang. Bought 3 blouses from Levi’s in Pacific. Dad manage to get his perfume and mum just seem happy to be out with dad.

I know… Its not the most flattering photo I’ve taken… But keeping in mind that after taking it off I will have prettier teeth makes it bearable :-P

Merry Christmas!

Its Christmas again n I just came back from church. Before that I went to dinner with my family and hubby at soon lee. This is the 3rd Christmas we pass together. I’m proud of how we build our relationship. It’s the best one I’ve ever had. I always tell myself that he is the answer to my prayers and I think he is the one. I’m feeling the warmth of Christmas this year. So much has changed at home and my parents are really putting in effort to work out their problem. Hopefully there well be peace (finally!)

I have to start listing down my new year resolution in few days time before it’s new year. Tomorrow early morning I’m having my braces put on, I wish it won’t hurt. Anyway, GOODNIGHT and have a MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS!
